Fabulous Super Foods to Feed Your Hair's Health

Every lady dreams of having long, luscious, beautiful locks but did you know that you could be doing the one thing that is strongly discouraging your hair from being just that. While people often place importance on the quality of their hair products (which is extremely important), they rarely think about their lifestyle choices that could certainly be damaging and forbidding hair growth. Could you possibly be a culprit? Well, the first thing you need to do is look at your diet - or better yet, incorporate these delicious super foods into your meals and allow your hair to have that full, stunning appeal that you have only ever sees on hair commercials... until now, of course.

Fruits for Health

Not only are blueberries delicious but they are also packed with a healthy dose of antioxidants. While the aging process can never be stopped all together, having a half a cup of blueberries each day will slow down the process significantly, keeping your hair looking youthful and shiny. Another fruit to incorporate into your diet is kiwis as they are also loaded with antioxidants and as well as vitamin C. These nutrients will not only give a blast of health to your hair and encourage hair growth but can also keep your skin nice and firm, prevent wrinkles and even encourage healthy strong bones and teeth.

Yummy in Yogurt

Speaking of fruits, why not add a bunch of super foods together, like some blueberries in yogurt. One cup of low-fat yogurt will provide some delicious calcium into your diet to rejuvenate your hair, nails and teeth. It's an excellent and nutritious breakfast or even as a mid-day snack.

From the Water

Omega-3 fatty acids are crucial for a healthy diet and wild salmon is an excellent source that will keep your hair and skin full of nutrients, keeping them moist and youthful. It is such a versatile super food, so you can enjoy it in a salad, pasta, grilled, baked or even as the main dish. Since there are so many incredible ways to enjoy this super food, you'll have no problem adding it into your diet.  Oysters are also a fabulous super food as they are an excellent source of zinc which actually aids in the renewal and repair of your skin and hair cells.

Delicious Snacks

While a hand full of walnuts may not be your idea of a delicious snack, you can combine this super food with another; delicious dark chocolate. Create your own super food snack mix with walnuts, dark chocolate and some Avena Sativa (wild oats), and you could easily add an abundance of nutrients into your diet that will feed your hair the health that it needs. The omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins provided will give you luscious locks. The avena sativa is also an excellent ingredient incorporated into many beauty products due to its value.

Veggies Each Day

Technically, tomatoes aren't a vegetable but they are packed with the incredible anti-aging antioxidant called lycopene which your body absorbs incredibly when tomatoes are cooked or processed. So, cook up some cans of tomato sauce, enjoy a glass of tomato juice or some ketchup on your fries. Since we are speaking of fries, opt out the white potato varieties with sweet potatoes as they are certainly a super food for your hair as well. They're packed with beta-carotene which is another fabulous antioxidant that gives your hair, skin and body a healthy dose of beauty. Spinach is another vegetable that is highly recommended to incorporate into your daily diet as it is also loaded with excellent sources of vitamins B, C and E, as well as omega-3 fatty acids, potassium, calcium, iron, and magnesium.

Now that you have your healthy diet working towards incredible, anti-aging hair and skin, treat yourself to some vitamin D to help activate that hair growth and get your hands on some Vole Hair beauty products to further improve your luscious locks.
